Peter however, being a kind soul, only wishes to return the card back to its owner, not realising its true powers. Facing a near death experience, he is rescued by Finn and Chris, while the enemies commence their pursuit. And, as Pinochle's warriors take Percy into their safety, a war seems imminent between the two factions.

Percy Parker and his "Card"[]
At a random Police Station, a young boy Percy Parker is seen asking an officer to return a card he had found to its owner, since a pack of cards with a few missing, is considered useless. The officer asks him to go home. This reminds Percy of how cold and unwelcoming the city is. He misses his sister, and begins to feel homesick, when he runs into Finn Oldman, an apprentice at "Pinochle".
Finn demands that Percy return the card, but Percy finds him suspicious and runs off. Later at a café, the waitress offers Percy 50,000$ in exchange for the card. Remembering his sister's advice to not be greedy, he rejects the offer. This causes the waitress, who was actually a member of [], to lose her temper, and pulls out a gun. Her men step out, and corner Percy. And, as Percy gives in to the pressure, and is about to hand the card over, Chris and Finn crash into the café, pull Percy into their car, and leave.
Before the men can do anything, Finn uses his X-Playing Card, "Neo New Nambu" to spawn in a pistol, and incapacitates them, as Chris drives off. The playing card that Percy has is one of 52 "X-Playing Cards", and is told that these cards grant their users special abilities. However their moment of peace doesn't last long as the accomplices of the assailants from before, begin to tail them. But, Leo and Wendy use their respective cards to defeat the enemy.
